Domain Registration

Once you've selected a name for your site it has to be searched to ensure the name is not already in use. If it is available, your site name can be secured for either an annual or two yearly fee. We will search your site name and register it. Fees can vary, but an Australian domain name (.com.au) can be registered for $34.95 for 2 years*.

Site Design and Development

Rates for design and development vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of your site. A single home page with standard graphics can be developed for app. $300. As a guide therefore, a basic 5 page site (a home page and four other linked pages) can be developed for app. $500. Extra pages can be added at $50 per page*. Detailed graphics, animation, or large photo galleries are additional items and would need to be quoted for as required. Search Engine Optimisation

Basic optimisation is included in your initial web design costing (above). This will ensure your site is search friendly when potential customers use search words that relate to your business. We will also make sure that search engines like Google and Yahoo know where to find you.

If, however, you are particularly intersted in optimising your site for the highest visibility and noticeable improvement in search rankings, we can offer professional S.E.O. for $150 - $500 per site on development*.

Site hosting

Once your site is ready for publishing on the net, you'll need to "rent" space  from a hosting company to store all your online site data. Hosting fees vary depending mainly on the size of your site and how much traffic you expect. We can advise you about the best plan for your site, with rates starting from $4.95 per month for a small "lite usage" plan, scaling up to commercial plans that offer 40 Gb of space for app. $45.00 per month*. Once again we can give you a more accurate costing on consultation.

Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance is essential for some websites, especially if you are continually changing pricing, product models, flagging specials, or just updating images. Not only that, your site will need "freshening up" every now and then in the same way you would keep a house looking great with a lick of paint. We can offer an attractive maintenance plan for sites that need frequent updating. We also offer a casual maintenance rate of $50 per hour for general maintenance*.
